A kaleidocycle is a paper folding model which connects to form a hexagon. It is like a fidget toy which has 4 different hexagonal faces. There are two types of kaleidocycles which are- hexagonal and octagonal. 
Doris Schattschneider published a book about kaleidocycles using MC Escher's tessellations. 
While doing some research during the tessellations project, I came across the tessellations developed by MC Escher which then lead me to these kaleidocycles. I was intrigued by the working of these kaleidoycles and soon decided that I want to develop a product around this idea.
So I finally decided to come up with a product for toddlers to teach them about the different seasons. The kit includes the template for the hexagonal kaleidocycle which has designs that depict the 4 seasons- Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. The designs on them have been taken from the tessellations project I did previously.
